The Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma is a branch of Jerusalem’s Herzog Hospital. The Center was established as part of the Latner Institute for the Study of Social Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.
The Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma was founded by Dr. Danny Brom, a leading expert in the field of post-traumatic stress disorder, who currently serves as Director of the Center. Dr. Brom a certified clinical psychologist in Israel and Holland, Dr. Brom has published numerous books and articles on PTSD, won the Award of the Dutch Academy of Sciences in 1990, and played a key role in the successful launching of the Dutch Institute for Psychotrauma.
Our team of experienced therapists all have formal training and vast clinical experience working with trauma survivors.
Currently, the Center works in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the National Insurance Institute, and public mental health clinics throughout Israel.
