Herzog Hospital’s psychiatric division cares for patients of all ages who are suffering from psychiatric disorders, striving to enable them to attain the highest possible level of functioning. It has achieved remarkable success in rehabilitating patients and returning them to the community.
The Division maintains separate departments for men and women. Its Community Mental Health Center services a catchment area of over 250,000 people. It has an active research arm, which has made major discoveries in new ways to treat depression and schizophrenia.
