Ways to Help

Herzog Hospital is an NPO/NGO which receives no government funding, yet it is one of the very few hospitals in Israel that maintains a balanced budget. It is managed by a voluntary board of directors. Donations are required for capital expenditures, improvements, expansion, specialized equipment, research and special programs to meet growing needs. Projects are supported through “Friends of Herzog Hospital” groups overseas and in Israel and by foundations and individuals.

Extensive naming opportunities are available for a broad range of projects. In all departments, patient rooms are available for dedication. New medical equipment is also always a pressing need. Numerous research projects in genetics, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases, schizophrenia and other areas require funding. The Hospital maintains a full range of endowment and deferred giving plans, including charitable remainder trusts and pooled income funds.
