Ambulatory Centers

Herzog Hospital maintains several out patient facilities throughout Jerusalem. These are located both at the Hospital, and three separate neighborhoods in the city. Herzog Hospital now seeks to establish an Ambulatory Community Health facility in the center of Jerusalem, consolidating all of its services in one location. This would combine the Hospital’s extensive out patient psychological counseling services, and its comprehensive geriatric care programs. For the critically needed psychological assistance, Herzog maintains its Community Mental Health Center; the Etgar Children’s Clinic and the Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma-all currently in different locations. Most of the Hospital’s out patient services for the elderly are currently located at the Hospital. All of the Hospital’s ambulatory out patient health care services for the elderly will also be moved into the same facility. This will provide much more efficient and effective care for the residents of the Greater Jerusalem area who require Herzog’s expert medical care.
