Herzog Hospital's psychiatric division cares for patients of all ages who are suffering from psychiatric disorders, striving to enable them to attain the highest possible level of functioning. It has achieved remarkable success in rehabilitating patients and returning them to the community.

The division comprises three departments and a large community clinic. In addition, the division maintains a system of sheltered housing and hostels to help patients who no longer need to be cared for in a hospital setting to lead a semi-independent life.
