“The Trauma of Terrorism: Sharing Knowledge and Shared Care; An International Handbook

A new book edited by Dr. Danny Brom, Director of the Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma, and Dr. Yael Danieli, has just been published. This landmark post 9/11 book features articles by most of the leading trauma experts in the world, and became a key reference publication on understanding and treating psychological trauma caused by tetrrorism.
Book Launch events were being held:
March 1, 2005 - at the United Nations, New York, sponsored by the UN Directorate on Counter Terrorism.
March 3, 2005 – Capitol Hill, Washington DC., hosted by Sen. Hillary Clinton anf Cong. Patrick Kennedy.
March 8,2005 - Canadian Parliament, Ottawa, hosted by Ministers Dr. Irwin Cotler and Dr. Carolyn Bennett.
March 15, 2005 – Reception at the Lily Silver Education Center at Herzog Hospital, Jerusalem
March 20, 2005- Presentation of the book to Mr. Moshe Kazav, President of Israel, at the President Residence, Jerusalem.
